The Micromax Q75 (ezpad) is a QWERTY smartphone targeted towards the business consumers. It has some great features like trackball navigation Jim Brown , QWERTY keypad, Wi-Fi support, Zenga mail client, Snaptu social networking, Dual-SIM dual-standby Bernie Kosar , pre-installed opera mini browser and multi messenger-Nimbuzz.

Look and feel

This Micromax Mobile phone looks like a Blackberry business phone with a QWERTY keypad and a large 2.4-inch display. It has a glossy black finish and chocolate brown matte finish that looks very stylish.

Ergonomics and interface

We can pull the back battery compartment easily with the help of a latch mechanism. After removing the battery cover we found two GSM-SIM slots and one microSD memory slot. On the bottom it has a 3.2 Mega-pixel camera, a 3.5mm audio-jack and a power port.

The keypad layout is great with quick navigation and is easy to use. The trackball feature is good for scrolling and selecting. It has shortcut menu and application buttons. We found that the keys were a little difficult to use.

The home-screen has quick access to facebook, YouTube, e-mail, Google and Wi-Fi. The trackball makes surfing Cleveland Browns Jersey , downloading and online gaming easy.

Performance

This Micromax mobile phone performed well in the signal reception and voice clarity tests. We found the loudspeaker ordinary as the handsfree output. The ear piece was consistent ad gave good voice clarity.

The Q75 supports a good camera with excellent colors. The video capture test had blurred images and the display was good.

Conclusion

the Micromax Q75 ezpad is for young executives. It has some great features like the inbuilt trackball, on-the-go Wi-Fi connectivity and has the lightweight Opera-mini browser. It has a solid built with a nice QWERTY keypad. Priced at Rs. 7,999, it is worth a buy. However if you like to click pictures the ordinary video camera will disappoint you.
